Dave Caplan

Chairman

Dave Caplan is the co-chairman and CEO of C2 Motion Picture Group, and he oversees the development, production, and sales of all C2 projects. Caplan supervises the creative direction of the studio and produces all of C2’s independent films, including “Longlegs” and “The Monkey” both directed by Oz Perkins and released by Neon, “The Bookie and The Bruiser” starring Adrien Brody and Vince Vaughn, “In The Grey” directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Henry Cavill, “Goodrich” starring Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis, “Azrael” starring Samara Weaving, and “The End We Start From” starring Jodie Comer.

He is an executive producer on Guy Ritchie’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” Sony’s “65” starring Adam Driver, and the Golden Globe Winning film “Babylon” starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. 

Caplan served as CEO and executive producer of Trooper Entertainment, responsible for managing the daily operation as well as the growth of the company as both a full services production company and international business entity. Prior to founding Trooper in 2014, Dave Caplan was Vice President of Development for 51 Minds Entertainment. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of California, Santa Cruz

Liz Destro

Head of Production

Liz Destro began her career with numerous acclaimed independent films including nine at the Sundance Film Festival. She has produced films such as Golden Globe-nominated Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Life of Crime (starring Jennifer Aniston) and Clerks III. In addition to 25+ films produced, she is now also developing and producing for TV and recently Executive Produced Swimming with Sharks for Lionsgate.

Connor Purcell

Director of Development

Connor Purcell serves as the Director of Development for C2 Motion Picture Group, playing a pivotal role in the company’s feature film endeavors. He is instrumental in guiding each project through its entire lifecycle, from conception and production to post-production and release, ensuring that every film aligns with C2’s standards of quality.

Connor brings a wealth of experience to his role with previous positions at Paradigm Talent Agency, Sugar23, and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. His strategic insight and storytelling skills have played a key role in shaping projects such as “Secret Headquarters,” “Young Woman and the Sea,” “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and the upcoming F1 movie. Holding a degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University, Connor combines analytical expertise with a genuine love for the art of filmmaking.
